Rockshockerz has quite a story behind how it started. Here is some of its history. Charl started building up bikes when he was still a teenager and liked all mechanical stuff. He decided to study mechanical engineering. He started off by building his own bumpers and other accessories due to nothing on the market that was up to his standards and what he liked. People started seeing stuff he made and he started a part time company Katools in 2015. In 2016 he built his first Canopy in his garage and it made its way to WegRy magazine. Orders started flooding in. Cobus his partner started building stuff from his garage in 2005, also due to the fact that there was nothing in the market he like, that was practical or that was up to his standards.

Back then he was into motorsport, GTI Club Champion, Somerset West motor club champion and Witzenberg motor cub champion. He is also an Red Seal Electrician (don’t have to stress about your vehicles wiring there, he is very pedantic). In 2010 he started Red Pepper in Vredenburg with great success. In 2018 Charl and Cobus decided to start something together and Rockshockerz was born. Both of them being anal about attention to detail you know that when you get work done by them it is done to perfection!

Charl did quite a few Solid Works courses so that everything they build gets designed and drawn in 3d first. That gives them the edge above a lot of other companies out there. All parts are laser cut and cnc bent up. It helps them that there is almost no finishing off work before primer and paint. It helps when both’s passion in life is for a perfect product.
